Rosé Wine

Our pretty in pink Rosés are the perfect pairing for sunshine, or if you just fancy something full of flirty berry flavours. Rosés get their beautiful colour from skin contact – the most common way of making Rosé is by crushing black skinned grapes and allowing the juice to spend a short period of time with the skins before fermentation. It is also probably the oldest known wine style in the world – the techniques needed to make a red wine were not developed until later, so red wines from the early Classical period would have been closer to Rosés. They range from crisp and bone-dry, to juicy sweet, and colours range from the palest salmon pink, to deep purpley-pink blush – all are bursting with red berry fruits.
