An outstanding vintage – beautiful for drinking now, but I’d also squirrel one or two away for the future (particularly as 2016s are likely to become rare in the future). Rich and powerful notes of black forest fruits, cranberry, raspberry, cherry, plum and apricot. Refined, elegant and volumptuous, with a purity of flavour.
