When you come into our Chorlton shop, our expert staff are able to give personalised recommendations based on your tastes, your likes and dislikes, and we don't think a Subscription Service should be any different. In our subscription boxes, every single bottle is picked especially for you!
This is not a "one size fits all" approach. Instead of sending out the same bottles to every single person signed up to our subscription, each and every box is hand picked for you. When you sign up, we'll send you a quick form so we can get to know you and what you like to drink, and then we pick out your drinks based on this knowledge.
This is your subscription and it is infinitely customizable to suit you! You can edit your preferences, change timings or cancel at any time. And we really, really encourage feedback - if you let us know you absolutely loved something, we can then make sure that there are plenty of things like it in your next box!

Our expert staff will pick out your box based on your preferences. If you ever need to edit or change your order, just let us know and we will sort it for you.

We're happy to create your perfect subscription box, especially for you! Do you want 84 lagers delivered every other Wednesday? Or are you after a Cider and Brandy selection every month? We have a huge range of wine, beer, cider, spirits and alcohol-free goodies - we can set up your own perfect subscription on your timescale. Just email and let us know what you'd like to see in your box, how often you'd like to receive your subscription and an idea of your budget, and then we'll work our magic!
Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on what subscription box you go for, it will contain 6/12 bottles of wine or 24 cans of craft beer.
Each box is customized to your tastes – we will send you a quick form to fill in about your tastes in wine/beer and what you’d like to see in your box, and then we will fill it with what you’ve asked for.
If you’ve asked for lots of delicate pretty reds, or huge rich oaky whites, weird and wonderful natural wine, or just a right old mix, then that is exactly what you’ll get. And you can edit/update your preferences at any time.
Using the table above, you can choose to receive your subscription monthly, every 2 months, or every 3 months. But if these timings don’t suit, we are more than happy to set up a subscription that fits your timetable. Just send us an email!

We’re a small independent business and we don’t have a lovely fancy system for you to edit your own subscription (maybe one day though!) The truth is those lovely systems can cost quite a lot, and for a small business, a good chunk of your subscription payment would have to help pay for it. We think it’s better that your hard earned cash is 100% spent on wine, rather than paying for a fancy computer system.
It’s your subscription, so you can edit any of the following at any point, and the changes will be made for your next subscription:
wine/beer preferences; timings ; delivery address ; delivery schedule ; change to local pick up ; payment schedule ; special one-off requests (eg. please include 3 Roses in my next box)
If you need to skip or cancel your subscription, please let us know 7 days in advance of your subscription payment, so we can ensure your request is implemented in time.
Please bear in mind that when you email, you’re talking to real people, not an AI robot that can reply instantly. We will reply and sort out your request as soon as possible, but there are only 2 of us, so please be patient!
If you’ve chosen Local Collection, your order will be ready shortly after your payment has come through. We will email you as soon as your Subscription Box is ready, and then you are welcome to collect from our Chorlton shop at any point during our opening hours.
We aim for your order to be ready by the afternoon of the next working day after your payment (but it will often be faster!)

We can deliver to most mainland UK addresses. Local deliveries are done by bike with Chorlton Bike Deliveries or Zedify. Further afield, we use APC.
For Highlands and Islands there may be an extra charge, please contact us if you’d like delivery to one of these areas.
Deliveries and collections are free in our Fine Wine Subscription, 12 Bottle Subscription and Craft Beer Subscription.
For our 6 Bottle Wine Subscription, we offer free collection or add our usual £10 delivery charge – please select which you would prefer.
It depends on your location and time of your subscription payment, but we will always email you when your delivery is booked, and we will let you know an estimated time of arrival.
If your parcel is sent with APC (all non-local deliveries) or Zedify (most Manchester deliveries) you will also receive a tracking link.
We can send deliveries Tuesday-Friday. Most local deliveries will be delivered the next working day after your payment, while APC can take 2-4 working days.
We’re confident we can cater to most tastes/dietary requirements, and the form we send you includes questions about both.
We are more than happy to ensure your wine is vegan/vegetarian/low sulphites/organic if you require. And if you’d like all of your wine to be full-bodied, or for all your beer to be pale, and other similar general requests, we can easily accommodate.
Please be aware that the more specific your request is, the more difficult it is for us to fulfil it! eg. We can easily make sure all of your wine is “red, vegan, & European”, but it might be more difficult to deliver 6 new bottles of “vegan, organic, natural, white Languedoc Roussillon” every single month! But we will definitely be able to recommend similar things! We will always check with you if your order contains something you’ve had before, or if it will contain something slightly out of your parameters.
