Crafted from carefully selected, handpicked Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes grown at their stunning Sussex vineyards during the excellent 2019 season, the fruit was gently whole-bunch pressed and partially fermented in old Burgundian barrels. A splash of Pinot Précoce was added at disgorgement, enhancing the rose-pink hue and red berry character. Bottle-aged on lees for a minimum of 48 months.
Delightful notes of wild strawberries, ripe red berries and a hint of toasted walnuts are complemented by biscuity richness and vibrant acidity, leading to a long, beautifully poised finish.
